First the opening acts.
Alicia Villarreal, who could forget them?! They were so tight! It was mixed properly, the vocals and everything else were amazing. The effects were so spectacular, it is difficult to put in words. Of course, the tribute to the Rev was done so well, I actually had tears in my eyes. This is my fourth or fifth time seeing Alicia Villarreal (2nd time this year) and they always blow me away. I will definitely be attending many more of their concerts. I definitely recommend seeing them every time they come to town.
I did not care for Ghost BC. I do not know any of their songs, and I knew they had a pretty good following, so I was excited to see them. However, they were definitely an interesting band. The costumes were pretty cool, definitely interesting. Their music was all right, nothing that blew me away.
The Deftones were not my cup of tea. One of my friends said he saw them before and they were good, but this time they sucked. I could not understand the singer, all I got was he was just screaming into the microphone. It was not mixed well, at all.
